You may already have experience in driving a concrete agitator truck, or you have driven a different type of vehicle and looking for a change and better job security, or you have you a HR Licence and want that first start. Then this is a great opportunity for you.

We are holding a Recruitment & Assessment Day on Thursday 10th of April 2025 at Silverwater, shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend, with a view to start within 1 week of the day or in line with your notice period.

About the role:

• Most days will start between 4am and 6am and drivers can do up to 10 hours per day, and around 50 hours per week. Saturday work is according to business needs and is paid at overtime rates
• We pay a base rate and once you go past your regular hours in one day the first two after that will be at time and a half. If you do more than 2 hours overtime in a day, you go to double time. Meal allowances are generally paid after 10 hours in one shift
• You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before
• We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads
• All new starts go through a 10-day training program before we let you loose by yourself

About you:

• Minimum of HR license (essential)
• You enjoy meeting people and having a chat with them when you're onsite
• You prefer variety in your working life. No two days are ever the same when you're driving one of our Agi trucks
• You take pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck
• Able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Hanson sites)
• Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may be required to be under a specified weight for these trucks
