We are now recruiting for multiple HR Agitator Drivers to join the team working on the Sydney Tunnel Projects based out of the Greenacre Concrete Plant.

Driving a concrete agitator truck for Heidelberg Materials Australia is more than just going from A to B and back again. Our Agitator drivers provide high levels of customer service to our clients receiving our products, becoming the face of our business. As an Agi Driver, you will be making multiple deliveries throughout the day and interacting with lots of different people. Every day will be different, there's nothing routine about this role!

About the role:

• The Project team runs Day and Night shift, 6 days a week.
• Shifts generally start from 6am/6pm daily and most days are 10-12 hours. However, flexibility is a MUST as start and finish times cannot be guaranteed.
• We pay a base rate and once you go past your regular hours in one day the first two after that will be at time and a half. If you do more than 2 hours overtime in a day, you go to double time. Meal allowances are generally paid after 10 hours in one shift.
• As we mentioned, driving an Agi is like being a Customer Service Agent on wheels. You will be dealing with lots of different personalities every day, so you need to be comfortable interacting with people you haven't met before.
• We provide cutting edge technology to not only keep you safe whilst driving, but also to help you map your routes and keep track of your loads.
• All new starts go through a 10-day training program before we let you loose by yourself.

To be successful in this role, you will:

• Hold a minimum of HR license - Essential
• Have a valid current Construction White Card - Essential
• Hold full Australian working rights
• Have excellent, clear communication skills - You'll be on a UHF taking directions on site a lot!
• Be comfortable wearing a full-face Versaflo Respirator at all times while in the tunnels (even in the truck)
• Show pride in the appearance of your truck. Keep it clean, give it a wash and present the best image of our company. You are a mobile billboard and people notice a dirty truck
• Be able to pass a pre-employment medical, including a drug and alcohol test (random testing is also conducted on all Heidelberg Materials Australia sites)
• Some of our trucks have driver weight limits on their seats and seatbelts. For safety reasons, you may be required to be under a specified weight for these trucks

• Base hourly rate of $31.03 per hour, plus overtime, allowances, penalties and super
