What you’ll do

Reporting to the Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching Futures), you will:

• Lead the development and delivery of learning and teaching professional learning initiatives across the university through a suite of in-situ academic development initiatives.
• Drive innovation by promoting and modelling contemporary teaching approaches as well as leading the implementation and evaluation of new academic development initiatives.
• Lead the development and evaluation of professional learning events and teaching awards and grants.
• Mentor, coach and co-create applications for National Citations and University-wide learning and teaching excellence awards and citations.
• Lead the University’s Advance HEA Scheme.

What will help you succeed

Together with your doctoral qualification in education or a related discipline, key to your success in this role will be your:

• Significant teaching and research expertise with demonstrated experience in delivering engaged and reflective approaches to teaching that produce the best possible outcomes for students.
• Ability to initiate, design, develop and lead academic development initiatives.
• Experience in leading learning and teaching innovation, including online, flexible, digital, and disruptive approaches to education.
• Exceptional communication and engagement skills with diverse university stakeholders.
• Record of publications, presentations, citations and other evidence of impact in higher education research and/or scholarship of teaching and learning at a national or international level.

Salary: Total remuneration range $187,737 pa to $206,439 pa (includes salary range of $158,628 pa to $174,431 pa, employer super contributions up to 17% and annual leave loading)
