Job Description:
Sanctuary is seeking a dedicated Clinical Coordinator to join a fun and supportive nursing team. This role is crucial in providing senior nursing leadership and ensuring high-quality care for residents. The Clinical Coordinator will oversee nursing duties, medication management, and staff supervision and promote a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision to care teams, including Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Personal Care Workers, and Allied Health staff.
• Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with residents, their families, and the care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and data systems in compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Promote a learning culture to enhance the skills of care teams.
• Manage clinical incidents and participate in investigations as needed.
• Oversee the Master roster to ensure appropriate care models are maintained.
• Address issues affecting resident outcomes and care targets.
• Manage clinical stocks and ensure budget compliance.
• Advocate for residents' rights and liaise with relevant authorities to resolve grievances.
• Ensure compliance with Bolton Clarke policies and procedures.
• Engage in continuous self-education and professional development.

Key Skills and Requirements:

• Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification leading to registration as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Nursing registration with APHRA and a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
• Competence in clinical governance and contemporary nursing care practices.
• Experience in aged or community care environments is desirable.
• Strong work ethic
• Strong leadership, communication, and people management skills.
• Understanding of financial reporting within a service delivery framework.
• Knowledge of relevant legislative and regulatory requirements in aged care.
• Federal Police Clearance is required.
