Part of the Howden people and risk group, CAC are currently seeking candidates who hold the following qualifications with suitable registrations:
- Psychologists
- Provisional Psychologists
- Social Workers
- Registered Nurse (Psych)
- Rehabilitation Counsellors (ASORC registered)

Job Description
You will enjoy the flexibility and autonomy to manage your own calendar.
Activities may include:
- Case management of a diverse client group, including injured workers, and early intervention services.
- Opportunity to apply counselling skills and knowledge to facilitate return to holistic health, wellness and work for clients.
- Working collaboratively with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to assist people to fully re-engage with the community.
- Opportunity to facilitate and deliver wellbeing workshops.
- Opportunity to deliver Employee Assistance Programs.
- Opportunity to further develop early intervention and preventative holistic wellbeing resources and programs.
- Hybrid work arrangements and autonomy.
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential:
• Tertiary qualified as a Rehabilitation Counsellor, Psychologist, Provisional Psychologist or Social Worker.
• Registration/accreditation with AHPRA/ASORC/RCAA or other relevant professional bodies.
• Full Australian working rights.
• A current Working with Children Check.
• Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application.
• A current drivers licence and vehicle insurance.
Desired:
• Knowledge and understanding of Workers' Compensation and injury management.
Preferred skills and qualities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and report writing skills.
• An ability to work well under pressure in a dynamic team environment.
• Conflict resolution skills, with an ability to positively influence stakeholders (injured workers, treaters, employers) resulting in sustainable return to work outcomes.
• Knowledge of Victorian Worksafe Laws and relevant Acts.
• Strong clinical reasoning and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• A desire to help people rehabilitate and make a positive difference in the community.
• Highest standard of ethics.
• Highest level of self-motivation and initiative.
• Ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs of changing environments.
• Strong commitment to accountability.
• Strong attention to detail.
