MEDICAL RECEPTIONIST

GENERAL PRACTICE

At Milton Village Medical our experienced staff have been committed to excellence in medical care for over fifteen years. We have recently relocated to a beautiful near new purpose-built clinic at Milton Village. Still very central, we are only 2km from Brisbane’s city centre, and easily accessible by car, bus or train.

This position is an opportunity for an energetic and efficient individual to join our highly committed team here at Milton Village Medical.

We are seeking an individual with outstanding customer service skills and highly developed communication skills, who can work autonomously, and as part of a team.

Due to the busy nature of our Practice, the ability to prioritise, work efficiently and remain calm under pressure is essential.

Main duties may include but are not limited to:

• Delivering high-quality customer service to patients, Doctors, and Allied Health Professionals
• Greeting patients and managing the front reception desk.
• Handling telephone inquiries and effective scheduling of patient appointments per practice procedures.
• Performing general administrative, reception, and other related duties.
• Maintain the practice in a clean and tidy condition
• Maintain confidentiality while managing patient records
• Liaise with the Practice Manager and Doctor/s to provide day-to-day administrative support and take an active part in working closely with other team members to manage daily tasks
• Other duties as directed
• Hours range between 7 am - 6.30 pm Mon-Fri and 8 am - 1 pm Sat-Sun.

Prior Medical reception experience and experience with Best Practice software are preferred, but not essential.
