Our client is a private funds management firm focussed on acquiring property in the affordable accommodation sector.
An opening for Park Managers exists at their bushland property in Melbourne - a mid-sized tourist park attracting a mix of clientele from tourists to workforce.
Location, Location?
Your first thoughts may be that suburban Melbourne is not where you want to be! But you are wrong!
This park is a bush oasis on the edge of suburbia. Think; home to parrots, feeding kookaburras in the morning, the rustle of gum trees, trickle of water from the nearby creek and dirt roads!
When you need your fix of restaurants, entertainment and shopping; it is all at your door step!
So, tell me about this amazing role
You will work alongside Assistant Park Managers who are experienced and play well with others!
As the Park Managers, you will manage the AM's and have significant impact on the satisfaction of all admin, housekeeping and maintenance team members.
You will assist in achieving financial targets, creating a positive work environment and prioritise a guest-services mindset.
Day to day duties including managing front office using RMS reservation system, rostering housekeepers and regularly assisting with cleaning, hands-on involvement with facilities management and pool maintenance as well as sharing on-call after-hours.
But how will I know if I'm their people?
- Experience in managing tourist accommodation or hospitality management is ideal.
- Some practical experience in accommodation sales would be perfect.
- Mediation and conflict resolution skills will be highly regarded.
- Possessing a flexible attitude, enjoying a good-days work and the mind-set of ‘pitching-in’ are excellent attributes.
