About the role

SCC Clinic, a leading provider of dermatological services, is seeking a talented and experienced Dermal Therapist to join our team in Maroochydore, Queensland. In this part-time or casual role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality skin treatments and aesthetic services to our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

• Performing a wide range of advanced skin treatments, including laser therapies, chemical peels, radio frequency skin tightening and microneedling
• Conducting comprehensive skin assessments and developing personalised treatment plans for each client
• Educating clients on proper skin care routines and maintaining the health and appearance of their skin
• Ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety in all treatment procedures
• Collaborating with the medical team to provide integrated, holistic care for clients
• Maintaining detailed client records and treatment notes
• Continuously expanding your knowledge and skills through ongoing training and professional development
• assisting with reception duties

What we're looking for

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Dermal Therapist, preferably in a clinical or medical aesthetic setting
• Formal qualifications in Dermal Therapy, Nursing, or a related field
• Strong understanding of skin anatomy and physiology, as well as the latest advancements in dermatological treatments
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide exceptional client care
• A passion for skincare and a commitment to staying up-to-date with industry trends and techniques
• Meticulous attention to detail and a focus on safety and infection control protocols
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
