Job Title: Project Manager

• $800-$900 per day + super
• 6 month contract + extension
• Part-time - 3 days per week
• Lead the delivery of an online safety project
• Travel to South Korea in August for APEC workshop

About the Role:

This federal government organisation are seeking a part-time Project Manager to lead the delivery of a project under the APEC Policy Partnership on Women and the Economy.

To see you succeed in this role, you will have experience in project management, strong organisational skills, highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and online safety knowledge, with a focus on technology-facilitated gender-based violence.

You will need to enjoy a challenge, be passionate about making a difference and willing to work flexibly in an evolving environment.

You will also travel to South Korea in August, proudly representing this organisation for the APEC workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

• Undertake a desktop scan to identify existing guidance, advice or regulations for workplaces on gender-based violence facilitated by technologies and women’s safety online in APEC economies.
• Lead the development of a toolkit of practical resources that APEC economies can use to prevent and respond to TFGBV in the workplace, including toolkit research and design
• Organise and host a roundtable workshop with APEC economy representatives, to take place in August 2025, including developing the engagement plan, agenda, and session content for roundtable consultations
• Monitor project progress, build-in evaluation metrics and feedback mechanisms, and adjust plans as required
• Work effectively with eSafety staff and other partners including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade on toolkit delivery.
• Draft a project completion report.

Key Skills:

• Strong interpersonal and diplomatic skills, including cultural awareness, so that you can establish and maintain good working relationships internally and externally, particularly with stakeholders and toolkit end-users in other countries.
• Demonstrated project management and organisational skills, including planning, budgeting, and risk management, as well as monitoring, learning and evaluation.
• Demonstrable knowledge in online safety projects, or similar.
• Aus Citizen, or eligibility for Baseline Clearance
• Available to travel to South Korea in August
