About the role

We are seeking energetic and friendly Sport Bar Food & Beverage & Guest Services Team Members to join our casual team at the Queens Hotel Gladstone in Gladstone, QLD. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for our guests in our lively sports bar and hotel.

What you'll be doing

• Delivering exceptional customer service to guests in the sports bar and hotel
• Preparing and serving a variety of food and beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
• Restocking and maintaining the bar and food service areas to ensure they are well-presented and stocked
• Assisting with cash handling and processing customer payments
• Providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere for all guests
• Adhering to all relevant health, safety and licensing regulations
• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role, preferably in a bar or restaurant environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
• Familiarity with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• A current Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate or willingness to obtain one
