A well-known Aged Care business in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Funding and Billings Officer for an initial three-month contract, with potential for extension.

Key Responsibilities:

• NDIS Claiming & Reconciliation: Process and reconcile NDIS claims via Proda, ensuring compliance with NDIS pricing guidelines and regulations. Manage overdue accounts, liaise with NDIA for manual claims, and maintain accurate financial records.
• Financial Management: Assist participants with NDIS plan budgets, invoices, and payments, while fostering relationships with service providers.
• Reporting & Analysis: Prepare monthly receivables reports, monitor cash flow, and support end-of-month financial procedures.
• Compliance & Process Improvement: Stay updated on NDIS regulations, assist with audits, support the AlayaCare system implementation, and drive process efficiency.

Skills & Experience:

• Strong NDIS finance knowledge, including pricing guidelines and Proda experience.
• Background in accounts receivable (AR) within a high-volume environment.
• Expertise in credit & collections processes, Excel, and accounting systems.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Degree or diploma in accounting/finance.
• Experience within an NDIS provider environment.
• Process improvement expertise and cross-functional collaboration skills.
