About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and personable Pharmacy Assistant to join our team at Cincotta Discount Chemist Wagga' in Wagga Wagga, NSW. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy operations and providing excellent customer service. What you'll be doing

• Assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions
• Providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service to patients
• Maintaining stock levels and reordering supplies as needed
• Adhering to pharmacy policies, procedures and relevant legislation
• Performing administrative tasks such as data entry and record-keeping
• Promoting and selling over-the-counter healthcare products
• Ensuring the pharmacy environment is clean, organised and well-presented

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a similar customer service role in a healthcare setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional customer service
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Enthusiasm for the healthcare industry and a commitment to patient care
• Computer literacy and experience with pharmacy software (desirable)
