About the role

Amal's Discount Chemist' is looking for a dedicated Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in West Ryde, NSW. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacists and ensuring the smooth running of our busy pharmacy. This is a full-time or part-time position, offering the opportunity to work in a friendly, customer-focused environment.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting pharmacists with the dispensing of medications and providing excellent customer service
• Maintaining accurate records and inventory of pharmaceutical supplies
• Preparing and labelling medication in accordance with prescriptions
• Answering customer queries and providing information on over-the-counter products
• Ensuring the pharmacy environment is clean, organised and well-stocked
• Providing administrative support, such as processing orders and managing paperwork

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in Australia
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with customers and healthcare professionals
• A keen interest in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industry and a commitment to providing high-quality customer service
• Proficiency in using pharmacy-specific software and computer systems
• A friendly, professional and helpful attitude
• Ability to speak Korean will be look at favourably
