Are you a talented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant?

Our client is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Tax Accountant to join their Tax Technical team. You will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of tax reporting and calculations, while managing key relationships with clients and auditors during tax reporting periods. This is a 5-month temporary contract.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and deliver accurate tax reporting services.
• Review and validate tax calculations, including superannuation fund tax returns and distribution calculations.
• Liaise with clients and auditors during the tax reporting and audit process.
• Maintain and update client tax profiles and data used for reporting.
• Provide expert advice on complex tax issues, including corporate actions.
• Contribute to tax process testing and updates to standard operating procedures.
• Provide training and technical guidance to team members as required.
• Support ongoing tax projects and transitions, ensuring technical excellence.

Qualifications & Experience:
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:

• Qualified Accountant (CA/CPA).
• Degree qualified in Business, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• Experience working for a custodian or Big 4 highly preferred.
• Knowledge of fund accounting principles for financial instruments, trusts, and/or superannuation funds.
• Experience using central accounting systems and producing reconciliations.
