We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated person to lead our Education and Care team across all centre based care and kindergarten services shire wide. Based in Port Fairy with frequent travel to all services, this position will be responsible for the coordination and delivery of early years programs across the municipality.

To be successful in this role you will need

QualificationsEssential

Relevant tertiary qualification or lesser formal qualification with extensive experience

ExperienceEssential

Experience in the planning, coordination and evaluation of early years services

Experience in service coordination and supervision of staff

Demonstrated experience writing verbal reports and undertake presentations as requested

Key selection criteria 1

Demonstrated knowledge of children's services legislation, standards, guidelines and service delivery needs.

Key selection criteria 2

Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills with experience in email, word processing, spreadsheet and relevant data base software

Key selection criteria 3

Ability to set priorities, plan, coordinate and manage time effectively to achieve objectives

Key selection criteria 4

Provide contemporary leadership, promoting a customer service ethic, quality outcomes and a collaborative and successful team culture.
