NSW Timber and Hardware is on the lookout for an organised and analytical professional to step into the role of Inventory Analyst | Stock Controller at our Minto facility. - Your Role at a Glance:
- Stock Integrity: You’ll ensure the stock we have in the warehouse is accurately reflected in our systems. This means carrying out regular stock audits and identifying any discrepancies
- Data Management: Manage and analyse large volumes of inventory data to make decisions that impact stock levels, report trends, and implement improvements.
- Collaboration: You’ll regularly liaise with teams across the business – from warehouse staff to leadership – to streamline processes and solve problems that ensure we keep moving forward efficiently.
- Continuous Improvement: We’re looking for someone who can actively look for ways to make things better. Whether that’s through refining processes or helping integrate new technologies, your ideas will be heard.
The Person We're Looking For:
- A Data Whiz: You enjoy working with data and see the story behind the numbers. Stock control isn’t just a task for you; it's about understanding the why and how of what we do.
- Detail-Oriented: You get satisfaction from knowing that every part of your work is accurate, and you take pride in getting things right the first time.
- Problem Solver: When things don’t go to plan, you’re quick to assess the situation and come up with a solution. Your proactive approach is essential.
- A Team Player: Collaboration is key. You’re just as comfortable communicating with our production crew on the warehouse floor as you are engaging with the finance and sales teams in the office.
- Tech-Savvy: You’re familiar with data management systems and have strong spreadsheet skills. Technology doesn’t just help you do your job – you actively use it to make things easier and more efficient.
