Top End Diesel is a family-owned and operated business seeking an experienced and dedicated spare parts interpreter with extensive knowledge of trucks and trailers to manage our Katherine branch. This is a sole operator role, providing a unique opportunity to take full ownership of branch operations and make a significant impact.

Your day to day work activities will be varied and hands-on with a multitude of road transport parts interpreting activities. We specialise in providing a comprehensive range of truck and trailer parts to a broad range of industries. Our team take pride in delivering exceptional customer service, consistently going the extra mile to help and support our valued clientele.

The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

• Strong technical understanding of Truck & Trailer parts
• Capacity to work autonomously
• Desire/capacity to introduce higher levels of customer service to the local market
• Proactive, reliable, self-motivated and the ability to work under pressure
• Good problem-solving skills and effectiveness in prioritising multiple tasks
• High attention to detail
• Experience in procurement and inventory management
• Strong communication skills
• Forklift licence
• Current manual driver's licence

Tasks and Duties:

• Provide timely responses and efficient management of customer inquiries from the counter, phone and email
• Preparation of quotes and purchase orders, and complete other related documentation in a timely manner
• Maintain the warehouse as required
