About the role

CKD Automotive is seeking a full-time Automotive Spare Parts Interpreter to join our team in Pennant Hills, NSW. In this critical role, you will be responsible for interpreting and communicating technical automotive parts information to our Service Department and customers, ensuring they receive a great level of service.

What you'll be doing

• Interpret complex technical documentation and diagrams to accurately identify the required automotive spare parts
• Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service, guiding customers through the parts ordering process
• Manage inventory levels and liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of ordered parts
• Support the workshop team by sourcing and delivering parts as needed to facilitate efficient vehicle repairs
• Maintain detailed records of all parts orders, returns and warranty claims
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of parts interpretation and procurement processes

What we're looking for

• Some experience as an Automotive Spare Parts Interpreter or similar role
• Comprehensive knowledge of automotive parts, systems and terminology
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information clearly
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to accurately interpret parts requirements
• Proficiency with parts cataloguing and inventory management systems
• A keen eye for detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
• A passion for the automotive industry and a commitment to providing outstanding service
