About the role

As a Cable Layer at Gnalla Resources, you will play a crucial role in the installation of western power network infrastructure across various subdivisions. We are looking for multiple roles to be filled for our rapidly expanding company. We are looking for personnell both north and south of the river.

What you'll be doing

• Safely excavate, lay, and backfill underground cable routes
• Install Hv, Lv, lighting and service cables
• Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
• Assist with the planning and coordination of cable installation and maintenance projects
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure the reliable and efficient delivery of power

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a cable layer or in a similar electrical/utilities role
• Strong knowledge of cable installation techniques, electrical systems, and safety procedures
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Physical fitness and stamina to perform manual labour tasks
• Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to work sites as required
• Commitment to upholding safety and environmental standards
