Job Description

As a Primary & High School English Teacher, you will be responsible for:

• Designing and delivering high-quality English lessons that cover language, literature, creative and academic writing, public speaking, and debating.

• Preparing students for HSC, IB, and AP English examinations, equipping them with strong comprehension, critical thinking, and analytical skills.

• Customizing lesson plans to suit individual learning styles and curriculum needs, ensuring students achieve their highest potential.

• Providing structured academic guidance for selective school entrance exams, scholarship applications, and advanced academic pathways.

• Encouraging students to develop a strong command of the English language through engaging discussions, debates, and written exercises.

• Fostering a dynamic and supportive learning environment, helping students build confidence, creativity, and independence in their studies.

• Conducting assessments and providing detailed feedback to students, parents, and relevant stakeholders to track progress and improvement.

• Collaborating with JPI Education & The Princeton Review Australia’s academic team to continuously enhance the curriculum and teaching methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

NESA-accredited English Teacher (Essential)

Experience as an HSC Marker or in IB & AP English (Highly Desirable)

Proven track record of teaching English to high-achieving students

Ability to customize learning approaches based on student needs and curriculum requirements

Passion for academic mentorship, with a focus on excellence in language and literary studies

Exceptional communication and teaching skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate students

Availability for after-school and weekend teaching sessions at our Chatswood and Sydney CBD campuses
