Based in Belair, Jackson & Associates Solicitors are a well-known local name in dealing with Wills, Powers of Attorney, Advanced Care Directives and Probate /Deceased Estate Administration. We are looking for a legal assistant who can provide assistance to Solicitor Mark Jackson in his Belair office.
About the Role:
- Part time, three negotiable days a week
- Gain exposure to reception and legal administrative tasks
- Build your legal administrative skills and knowledge with Wills and Deceased Estates.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Carry out reception duties, including managing the phone and greeting clients
- Filing, scanning and managing files
- Arrange and manage appointments
- Providing general administrative support
- Preparing (under supervision) correspondence and legal documents
About You:
To be considered for this role you should be: -
- Confident with using technology and utilising applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, LEAP and Outlook
- Organised
- Friendly and professional
- Confident with verbal and written communication
The successful applicant will not necessarily have law office experience, however general office experience would be a plus.
