In-house mechanical & electrical specialist who designs, services & repairs, and builds special-purpose hydraulic and pneumatic process equipment. Aussie-owned and made, lot of room for progression and professional development

Job & What's in it for you (professional development & on the job learning)

Due to the high workload, they require 2 x full-time Technicians / Mechanical or Electrical Fitters, who are capable of managing their workloads as well as working within a team.

• Machinery comes flat-packed, work with a team and learn how to build and commission the machinery.
• Dismantling and assembling small, medium, and large industrial engineering equipment.
• Develop skills and understanding of unique machine operations.
• On-the-job learning of mechanical & electrical components that make up the machinery (small to medium parts and components like rollers, conveyor chains, traction wheels, chutes, chassis, seals, brackets, electrical control cabinets, commissioning & more).
• Assist field technicians and fitters with routine servicing of new and upgraded machinery.
• Learn about Quality and industry standards.
• Fault diagnostics on machinery once built and installed.
• Reconditioning and overhauling of machinery.
• Work towards strict company HSE standards.

To apply you will have:

• Australian / New Zealand TAFE trade qualification OR an overseas HND / HNC equivalent.
• 2 years of Technician / Mechanical Fitting experience.
• A good attitude.
• A confined space / EWP license would be great.

Salaries vary from $75,000 to $110,000 base and package! Excellent career development opportunities in Supervisory roles, Field-based positions, and Project Engineering jobs within the company.
