Valued at over $400 million the industry is booming, and it’s only getting bigger.

What the role is about:

As the Marketing and Communications Officer, you’ll be at the centre of it all. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll create and implement innovative marketing strategies, manage high-profile events like Tasmanian Whisky Week, and strengthen the TWSA brand. You’ll work closely with members and stakeholders, amplifying Tasmania’s presence in the spirits market.

This role offers you the opportunity to take creative control over content creation, manage social media and email campaigns, and work on a range of exciting marketing projects. Your work will engage the industry’s community and support its ongoing growth.

About you:

We’re looking for a friendly, motivated individual with a passion for Tasmania’s spirits and a flair for marketing and communications. If you have experience in event coordination, social media management, and content creation, you’ll thrive here. You’ll be highly organised, creative, and comfortable working independently with a hands-on approach to ensure smooth execution of all tasks.

Experience with email marketing platforms, building websites, and media relations is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across a variety of stakeholders is essential.
