About the role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Manager to lead the delivery of renewable energy projects from late-stage development through construction, commissioning, and into the operational phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project execution, stakeholder engagement, contract administration, and commercial risk to ensure successful project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Manage the transition of renewable energy projects from late-stage development into construction, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
• Maintain strong relationships with investors, regulators, landowners, contractors, and local communities.
• Oversee key project contracts (EPC, O&M, grid connection), ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and financial models to maintain project viability.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant regulatory, environmental, and permitting requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks across construction, financial, and operational phases.
• Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to meet timelines, quality, and safety standards.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Renewable Energy, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in project management within renewable energy (solar, wind, battery storage, etc.)
• Proven track record of managing projects from development through to operational handover.
• Strong understanding of EPC and O&M contracts, grid connection processes, and commercial project structures.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, particularly with regulatory bodies, investors, and contractors.
• Knowledge of risk assessment, compliance frameworks, and financial project modelling
• Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or similar project management certification is a plus.
