This is a superb opportunity for a Production Planner / Logistics Officer to join a leading privately owned and national manufacturing success story.

The Role
Located in a brand new purpose built facility in south west Brisbane and reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll work in a hands-on capacity between factory and office. You’ll take on responsibilities for production planning of the manufacture of steel and associated building products as well as load planning and delivery to customers.

Your responsibilities:

• Work with Production & Logistics. Maximise production capacity
• Plan production to optimise workload, orders, delivery & sales
• Ensure appropriate resource allocation to meet customer needs
• Maintain production plans for all shifts
• Optimise production capacity for transport loading and deliveries
• Maintain communications on schedules, production and materials
• Resolve non conformance matters
• Review, evaluate and improve production policies and procedures

Your skills:

• Minimum 3 years exp in Production or Logistics
• Well developed verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a team environment
• Self-motivated and ability to work autonomously
• High level quality awareness
• Working knowledge of transportation and load restraint
• High level computer literacy (MS Suite, Excel, aSa, ERP systems)
