About this Role

In this dynamic role, you will oversee and drive people and culture (P&C) initiatives, ensuring alignment with our organisational mission and strategy. At PositiveMedia, we are committed to fostering a culture where people are valued and reach their potential by using their God-given strengths. We do this by attracting, developing and retaining excellent people, and providing the systems, processes and support for them to thrive. As P&C Business Partner, you will play a key role in facilitating this.

This is a part-time (3-4 days per week), fixed-term opportunity available to May 2026 as a maternity leave backfill role.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Acting as trusted advisor to the CEO on key strategies, trends and issues for leading best people practice
• Oversee recruitment
• Provide coaching and support to managers in leading their teams
• Oversee the internal reporting and analysis of HR metrics
• Provide employee relations advice
• Oversee the development, implementation & maintenance of HR processes and policies
• Work with the leadership team to build culture and engagement through effective people leadership and management
• Lead and manage the P&C team (one direct report)
• Drive the improvement and expansion of PositiveMedia’s volunteer program

About You

To thrive in this role, you will have:

• Broad HR experience, ideally in a business partnering capacity or overseeing a HR function
• Tertiary qualifications in HR or commerce (or an equivalent combination of study and experience)
• A passion for the vision and mission of PositiveMedia, to see “Every life alight with the love of Jesus”
• Strong functional expertise, a true HR generalist
• Exceptional people management and relationship building skills
• Demonstrated capacity for strategic thinking
• Exceptional ability to work within a team and across functions within the organisation
