We are currently looking for a friendly, compassionate, professional Practice Manager to join our long-standing team to ensure the smooth and efficient operations of the practice and provide an exceptional standard of care to our patients

Responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the day to day running of the medical practice
- Fulfil administrative duties for the medical centre and maintain appropriate standards for staff and facilities
- Supervise staff and oversee the management of all practice activities
- Provide assistance to doctors as and when required, and undertake administrative functions in relation to maintaining patient records and accounts
- Management of administration and nursing staff – this includes regular meetings, mentoring and continual professional development of staff
- Finance responsibilities including Medicare batching, private billing, debtor collection and banking
- Provide weekly/monthly reports to Management
The applicant will also be required to work independently at times, work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate commitment to working hard and have a can-do attitude
To be eligible for this role you will have at least two years' recent experience as a Practice Manager in a medical environment. You will have extensive knowledge of Medical software programs and Microsoft Office combined with excellent time management and organisations skills.
Our ideal candidate will have:
- At least two years recent experience as a Practice Manager in a medical environment.
- Excellent communication skills with a positive and friendly manner
- Strong leadership skills and a hands-on approach
- Knowledge of Medicare item numbers
- Understanding of medical terminology
- Ability to create a positive work environment
- Ability to relate well with healthcare professionals, staff and patients
- An organised Proactive approach
- Demonstrate the ability to grow and develop the practice
- Ability to work well under pressure and to multi-task in a busy environment
- Professional appearance and demeanour
- Extensive knowledge of Medical software programs and Microsoft Office combined with excellent time management and organisations skills.
- Current Australian Drivers licence and own car
