This position involves using the Council’s Record Management System to ensure documentation aligns with organisational standards while delivering high-quality irrigation services across Council-controlled Community Parks, Sports Fields, Road Reserves, Streetscapes, and Cemeteries.

About the role:

• Installation, repair, and maintenance of irrigation systems to keep community spaces in optimal condition.
• Apply technical expertise to select materials and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and irrigation industry regulations.
• Operate and maintain the latest Computerised Central Control Irrigation Systems.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support new projects and ongoing maintenance efficiently and professionally.

We are seeking:

• Certificate III in Irrigation.
• Practical experience working in irrigation installation, repairs, and maintenance.
• Current Vehicle Licence - MR.
• Proficiency in using computer-based applications and retrieving relevant data.

This position is based in Murwillumbah and can be directed to work from any Council work site.
