A leading advisory firm is seeking a Sector Lead – Health to spearhead their consulting services in the health sector. This is a rare opportunity to influence major health infrastructure and construction projects while establishing long-term client relationships and driving business growth.
The Opportunity As the Sector Lead – Health, you will be responsible for expanding and delivering the consultancy’s health sector portfolio, securing new projects, and providing strategic leadership. This role offers significant autonomy and direct collaboration with the Managing Director.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and deliver advisory services for major health infrastructure projects, from early-stage development through procurement and delivery.
• Develop new business opportunities, securing 3–4 new clients annually and achieving repeat engagements.
• Build a trusted advisor reputation, driving sole-sourced opportunities and client referrals.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to high-performing teams, ensuring excellence in project execution.
• Maintain a strong industry presence, engaging with senior stakeholders across government and private sectors.

About You:
You are an established leader in consulting and advisory services with a strong network in Queensland’s health sector. Your expertise in major infrastructure or construction projects, combined with engineering qualifications, positions you as a key advisor in delivering complex health projects. You have experience in the development, transaction and delivery of major (>$100m) health sector infrastructure / construction projects, and >15 years experience in Queensland with a mature network and peer level relationships at Government Director or Executive Director and above level.

Skills & Experience Required:

• Extensive consulting/advisory experience, particularly in health sector infrastructure and construction projects.
• Strong track record in delivering major health projects, including strategy, procurement, and delivery.
• Established network within Queensland’s health sector (government, private, and industry stakeholders).
• Engineering qualifications (civil, structural, mechanical, or other relevant discipline).
• Proven ability to secure and execute high-value advisory engagements.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage at C-suite and executive levels.
