Adecco is partnering with a leading manufacturing company to recruit an experienced Reliability Engineering Manager. This is a pivotal leadership role, reporting directly to the General Manager, where you will drive safety, quality, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement.
As a key member of the leadership team, you will manage a team of four engineers and technicians, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment and is passionate about mentoring, coaching, and driving change.
Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a team of engineers and technicians, driving reliability improvements, maintenance strategies, and process optimisations. You will be responsible for implementing automation and LEAN methodologies, reducing downtime, and enhancing operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Your leadership will foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement across the site. Key responsibilities include;
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing engineering team, driving continuous improvement and accountability.
- Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, minimising downtime through effective maintenance strategies.
- Implement automation and LEAN manufacturing practices to optimise production efficiency.
- Develop and execute a site reliability strategy, identifying process improvements and waste reduction opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, fostering a safety-first culture.
- Drive performance measurement and reporting, ensuring clear tracking of reliability metrics and outcomes.
Your Profile
Our client is eager to meet with those that meet the following key selection criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Electronic).
- 8+ years in a senior engineering or leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven team management and mentoring experience.
- Strong expertise in LEAN, Six Sigma, automation, and preventative maintenance strategies.
- Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder engagement, and communication skills.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
