The Role
As an Accounts & Administration Officer, you’ll be at the heart of our finance team, supporting a variety of domestic and international projects. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you’ll manage financial operations, including accounts payable, receivable, payroll, reporting, and intercompany transactions. Your analytical skills and attention to detail will be essential in consolidating and interpreting financial data to support decision-making.
This is a flexible, part-time role (20–25 hours per week), with the opportunity to transition into a permanent position based on business needs. The role is office-based in Brisbane CBD, with hybrid work arrangements available for the right candidate.
What We’re Looking For
We need a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’ll bring:
✅ 3–5 years of finance and administration experience, preferably in mining, consulting, or professional services
✅ Hands-on experience with Xero (preferred), WorkflowMax, Pronto, and MS Office Suite
✅ A self-motivated, highly organised approach with strong attention to detail
✅ The ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate with stakeholders, and meet deadlines
✅ Experience in accounts payable/receivable, payroll, tax reporting, and intercompany transactions
✅ A financial qualification from a recognised institution (preferred)

Key Responsibilities
~ Accounts Payable & Receivable – Process invoices, reconcile accounts, and manage supplier queries
~ Payroll & Intercompany Transactions – Assist with payroll (Australia, New Zealand & PNG) and post journal entries
~ Financial Reporting – Reconcile corporate credit cards, prepare reports, and assist with tax compliance
~ Administration & HR Support – Maintain employee records, process leave applications, and assist with travel bookings
