This position is for a part-time opportunity commencing immediately for a period of 5 months with the possibility of extension/permanency.
About the Role
We are looking for a motivated individual who is experienced in administration to contribute to the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of the Pilbara Regional Office, located in Karratha.
As Administration Officer you will be the first point of contact for visitors and undertake a variety of tasks including:
- Administration support to the business area.
- Central point for correspondence including telephone calls, emails and invoices.
- Travel bookings.
- Coordination of meeting and training documentation as required.
The position can vary in pace and requires a person who is self-motivated, highly organised, and has demonstrated interpersonal skills.

Eligibility To Apply
You must be an Australian Citizen or hold permanent residency to be considered for permanent appointments or hold a working visa covering the term of the contract (proof must be provided with your application) to be eligible for this position.
National Police Certificate
A condition of employment for new employees of DFES is that a current National Police Certificate (less than 3 months old) is provided prior to commencement.
