Northwest Mining (NWM) is looking for a Maintenance Planner to support our field service operations, responsible for maintenance scheduling, record-keeping, and compliance.

As a Maintenance Planner, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our maintenance operations run efficiently, supporting technicians, field service teams, and stakeholders to reduce downtime and keep our clients moving.

What you’ll be doing at NWM
- Plan & Schedule Maintenance – Develop and manage maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and keep operations efficient.
- Coordinate Resources – Allocate parts, labour, and tools effectively to ensure smooth maintenance activities.
- Manage Records & Documentation – Maintain accurate records of service history, maintenance reports, and compliance paperwork in Automation & Xero.
- Track Equipment Hours & Labour – Ensure correct charge-outs, purchase orders, and maintenance costs are recorded.
- Ensure Compliance & Audits – Keep all maintenance records aligned with company policies and client requirements.
Communicate with Key Stakeholders – Act as a primary point of contact for maintenance-related enquiries, providing regular updates to field teams and management.
What We’re Looking For
- Relevant qualifications in Business Administration, Maintenance Planning, or a related field.
- Experience in maintenance coordination, scheduling, and record-keeping.
- Proficiency in Automation & Xero (or similar maintenance/financial software).
- Strong organisational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks efficiently.
