About the role

As a Supply & Demand Planner at TotalEnergies Marketing Australia, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient management of our inventory and data processes. This full-time contractor position is based in our Melbourne, Victoria office.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement inventory management strategies to optimise stock levels and minimise wastage

Analyse and interpret data to identify trends and patterns that inform inventory planning and forecasting

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely data reporting

Establish and maintain inventory control systems and processes

Identify and address any discrepancies or issues in inventory data

Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance inventory efficiency

Support the development and maintenance of inventory-related tools and templates

Qualifications and experience

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in inventory management, data analysis or a related field. Tertiary qualification in relevant field is a plus

Strong understanding of inventory control principles, data management and forecasting techniques

Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans

Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve inventory-related issues

Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared objectives

Familiarity with inventory management software and systems
