About the role

Bambi Forest School is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to join our passionate team and help shape the future of our children. This part-time role is located in Lake Cathie, NSW and will see you play a pivotal part in delivering high-quality early childhood education in an outdoor, nature-based learning environment.

What you'll be doing

• Designing and implementing engaging, play-based learning programs that nurture children's cognitive, social, emotional and physical development
• Observing and documenting children's learning and development, and using this information to inform your teaching practice
• Building strong relationships with children and their families, and fostering a sense of community within the centre
• Ensuring a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment that aligns with the National Quality Standards
• Collaborating with the wider team to continuously improve the quality of our education and care
• Upholding the centre's policies, procedures and philosophical approach

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education
• Current early childhood teaching registration or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated experience in delivering play-based, nature-focused learning programs
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships
• Passion for environmental sustainability and a deep respect for the natural world
• Creativity, flexibility and a collaborative approach to teamwork
