Senior Project Officer ACFC Program
Location: Parramatta
Employment type: Ongoing Full Time
Salary: Clerk Grade 9/10, $125,693 to $138,510 pa, plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading
Your role
The Senior Project Officer ACFC Program will support the delivery of the Aboriginal Child and Family Centre (ACFC) Expansion and Enhancement Program, a priority commitment of the NSW Government.
What you'll do
The ACFC Expansion & Enhancement Program team in Infrastructure and Assets is a small and agile team which is leading:
- The delivery of six new ACFCs in NSW to ensure more Aboriginal children are developmentally on track and thriving in their early years.
- The upgrade of the nine existing ACFCs in NSW to future proof and improve the Centres service capability.
As the Senior Project Officer ACFC Program you will manage and coordinate the development, implementation and evaluation of complex time-sensitive deliverables to achieve the objectives of the ACFC Expansion and Enhancement Program.
The ACFC Expansion & Enhancement team is working meet milestones within a set budget and timeframe.
As a Senior Project Officer ACFC Program you will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of multiple tasks and projects that are complex and interconnected, whilst working to manage stakeholders with varied expectations, views and interests.
What we're looking for
Our ideal candidate will have extensive project management experience in government and/or the construction industry.
They must have strong communication and interpersonal skills. This includes capability to prepare and present clear, concise and accurate briefings and reports on complex issues to multiple stakeholders both verbally and in writing.
Given the small size of the ACFC Expansion & Enhancement team we are looking for candidates who are self-starters and can take the initiative and work with minimal supervision to progress tasks and projects independently.
