Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Marketing Specialist to join our team. This role is crucial for driving our market presence and expanding our business in China. The successful candidate will develop and coordinate advertising strategies and campaigns, determine market opportunities for our products, and identify new market trends and consumer preferences.

Key Responsibilities

Advertising Strategy Development: Plan, develop, and organize advertising policies and campaigns to support our sales objectives in the Chinese market.

Market Research & Analysis: Analyse data regarding consumer patterns and preferences in China, and interpret current and future consumer trends to inform our marketing strategies.

Campaign Coordination: Coordinate the production of advertising campaigns, including artwork, copywriting, media scripting, and media placement, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Market Opportunity Identification: Research potential demand and market characteristics for new and existing products, and collect and analyse relevant data.

Business Growth Support: Contribute to business growth by preparing and executing marketing objectives, policies, and programs that align with our company's goals.

Marketing Advice & Strategy: Advise executives and clients on effective advertising strategies and campaigns to reach target markets and create consumer awareness.

Product & Market Development: Identify and develop market opportunities for new and existing goods and services, focusing on the Chinese market.

Pricing and Promotion Strategy: Identifies market opportunities and advises on the development, coordination and implementation of plans for pricing and promoting an organisation's goods and services.

Requirements

* Australian Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.

* At least three years of relevant work experience in marketing, preferably in the international trade or raw materials sector.

* Proven experience in developing and implementing marketing strategies and campaigns.

* Strong understanding of Chinese market dynamics and consumer behaviour.

* Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.

* Proficient in campaign management, including media placement and production coordination.

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills to advise executives and clients effectively.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

* Fluency in English is essential.
