About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity to join the team at Level Built as a Project Manager / Carpenter, overseeing the delivery of high-quality residential construction projects in the Sydney area. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects, from planning and coordination through to final handover. The role is based in Hillsdale NSW 2036.

What you'll be doing

• Manage the planning, scheduling and coordination of all aspects of residential construction projects
• Lead and mentor a team of carpenters and subcontractors to ensure quality and timely delivery
• Liaise with clients, architects and local authorities to ensure projects meet all requirements
• Monitor budgets and timelines, identifying and mitigating risks to keep projects on track
• Collaborate with the wider construction team to share best practices and drive continuous improvement

What we're looking for

• Significant experience (8+ years) as a Project Manager or Senior Carpenter in the residential construction industry
• Strong technical carpentry skills and the ability to oversee hands-on construction work
• Excellent project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and complex schedules
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality residential construction projects on time and within budget
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant qualifications in construction management or carpentry
