About the Role and Main Responsibilities:
In this role, you’ll take the lead in shaping our people and culture strategy while managing key HR functions, including:
- Implement and oversee HR systems, including the rollout of a new HR system to improve processes.
- Manage and update HR policies, procedures, and the company handbook.
- Manage the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding to ensure a seamless experience for all staff.
- Lead performance management and staff development, supporting training and growth opportunities.
- Build positive relationships and ensure a supportive and compliant workplace.
- Provide day-to-day HR support, and ensure we are compliant with employment laws and industry best practices.
- Assist with payroll processes (experience with Reckon and Deputy is desirable).
- Drive a strong, values-based, inclusive workplace culture, that supports engagement and wellbeing.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support business goals and objectives.
- Help to lead and support change initiatives across the organisation.
About You – Skills and Experience
Our ideal candidate will bring:
- A degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years experience in a similar HR role, with a strong understanding of HR systems and processes.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
- Proven ability to manage multiple HR functions, including recruitment, performance management, and employee relations.
- Experience with payroll management software (Reckon and Deputy experience desirable).
- Proficiency in HR Management Software and a keen eye for process improvements.
- Change management experience (highly desirable).
- A passion for building a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
