Your role:

We are seeking a CCTV / Digital Bus Systems Technician who will conduct CCTV fault investigation and repair on our fleet of buses. This is a permanent full-time position based at our Port Botany Depot with a requirement to work at the Randwick and Bondi Junction depots on a regular basis (dependant on operational requirements). Hours: Monday to Friday day shift with some possible flexibility on start time between 6am – 7am.

Your responsibilities:

• Maintaining, fitting, and repairing a variety of digital and electrical control systems, such as CCTV, radio systems, telematics, destination signage, hard drives, fire suppression and fuel monitoring systems to keep our fleet of buses running seamlessly.

• Conducting routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning at peak performance.

• Providing technical advice on design, modifications, and repairs.

• Performing diagnostics, troubleshooting, and system updates.

• Support with all fleet inspection and asset management audits to ensure compliance with National Heavy Vehicle Inspection Scheme regulatory and OEM standards.

• Safe manoeuvring of vehicles in and around the depot as required.

• Ensure records are maintained and updated for all parts used, time spent, configuration and work completed in internal systems

The talent you bring:

• Proven experience as an automotive accessory fitter or in a similar role, particularly in automotive electronics.

• Can confidently read and interpret schematic diagrams.

• Holds a current NSW C class driver’s license with the ability to obtain an MR Licence.

• Solid understanding of automotive accessory fitting principles.

• Strong attention to detail and safety-first mindset

• Familiarity with brand products and accessories.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team

• Relevant trade qualifications or certifications in automotive repair strongly preferred
