About the role:
Belwey Motors is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join our team in Upwey, VIC. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles, contributing to the efficient and high-quality service we provide to our customers. This is a full-time role based at our workshop in Upwey.

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Diagnose and repair faults in vehicles, using your technical expertise and the latest diagnostic equipment
• Carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks, including servicing, replacing parts and making adjustments
• Accurately diagnose and document service repairs.
• Test and inspect vehicles to ensure they meet safety and performance standards
• Conduct road test and perform thorough quality control inspections
• Provide customer service and advice to clients as required
• Foster a positive, collaborative and team orientated culture within the workshop
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised work environment while ensuring the proper use of tools and specialised equipment

What we're looking for:

• Formal qualification in Automotive Mechanics
• Proven experience as an Automotive Technician, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and diagnostic techniques
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Good communication skills and the ability to explain technical information to customers
• A current driver's licence and your own set of tools
• Reliable, punctual, conscientious, and adaptable, with a strong work ethic.
