About the role

We are seeking a enthusiastic and customer-focused Shop Assistant to join our team at Swimart Liverpool. This is a full-time position based in our retail store located in Liverpool, NSW 2170. As Shop Assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers with their pool and spa needs.

What you'll be doing

• Providing friendly and knowledgeable assistance to customers, answering questions and offering advice on pool and spa products and services
• Maintaining the retail store's presentation and merchandise, including stocking shelves, arranging displays, and ensuring product availability
• Handling cash and card transactions, processing returns, and providing excellent customer service at all times
• Assisting with inventory management, ordering, and restocking as needed
• Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably within the pool, spa industry.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and provide exceptional service
• Excellent product knowledge or a willingness to learn about pool and spa products and services
• Proficient in cash handling and point-of-sale systems
• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work well in a team environment
• Enthusiastic, motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality customer experiences
