We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intermediate Tax Accountant to join our team. As an Intermediate Tax Accountant, you will be responsible for managing key clients, nurturing relationships + assisting leading a small team of Junior Accountants.

We are looking for a motivated individual who is technically skilled, high level of accuracy and is excited to engage with our clients.

Responsibilities:

· Account reconciliations, data entry and work paper preparation

· Preparation of Financial Statements

· Preparation of Income Tax Returns

· Working with the Corporate Affairs System

· Assisting with research on technical matters as directed

· Preparing budget and cash flow models

· Motivating a small team of Junior Accountants

· Building, nurturing + growing client relationships

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• CA qualified or close to completion
• 2 Years+ accounting experience
• Thorough knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations
• Proficiency in tax preparation software and accounting systems – Xero, CAS, MYOB
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
