As our company continues to grow, we have a position for an Intermediate tax accountant to join our collaborative and dynamic team. Pine Accounting & Tax Services, a boutique accounting firm, is dedicated to providing efficient and high-quality services that deliver value to our clients. We offer a full suite of services, including tax returns for individuals, sole traders, partnerships, companies, trusts and SMSFs.

Skills and Attributes Required:

• CA/CPA qualification (or nearing completion).
• Minimum of at least 2 years’ of experience in an Australian public practice firm.
• Must have a good knowledge of Xero Accounting software.
• Should have a sound knowledge of individual, company and trust tax returns.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Must have Australian Permanent Residency.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Compliance: Providing tax advice and ensuring clients adhere to regulatory requirements.
• Tax Planning and Advice: Addressing complex taxation issues and delivering practical, tailored solutions.
• Client Portfolio Management: Managing your own client base and fostering strong client relationships.
• Professional Development: Actively participate in internal and external training provided by the firm.
