Our client in the education sector is seeking an experienced administrative professional who has worked across property and planning. You will report to a Senior Property Advisor and assist with managing lease administration across schools and buildings Melbourne-wide.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of all aspects of lease administration for schools within Melbourne Archdiocese Catholic Schools. This includes, lease renewals, lease restructuring, rental reviews, lease surrenders market analysis, rental determinations, maintenance obligations and general lease administration
- Day to day management of properties and land including liaising with contractors to complete maintenance and prioritise payments to statutory authorities as they fall due. This also includes monthly reporting of property maintenance activities.
- General administration, filing, preparing documents, email communication
- Managing enquiries, processing purchase orders and invoices
- Providing support to the Property and Acquisitions Advisor regarding property related matters including acquisitions, leases, licences, easements and land management
- Investigating, analysing and responding to property enquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Preparing all supporting documentation to obtain internal and external approvals for leases and licences
- Maintaining property systems and records
You will have:
- Experience working within Administration but also property
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience in liaising with external and internal stakeholders, including verbal and writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to anticipate needs, problem solve and willingness to learn new skills
- Skills within Microsoft Office suite, database and emails
