The opportunity
This role is responsible for managing Asset Maintenance programs to ensure the upkeep of company assets. You’ll help coordinate the eProperty system, handle both planned and reactive maintenance, manage contractors, and oversee WHS data.
You’ll provide administrative support to the Property Services team and help improve Asset Management (AM) systems in line with the company’s Strategic Plan. Reporting to the Property Lead-Property Services, your goal is to assist the team in keeping AM systems and services running smoothly and compliant.
Your key tasks include managing the Asset Management System (eProperty), processing maintenance requests, ensuring contractors meet compliance standards, and handling purchase orders and invoices. You’ll also offer support to the Property Services team, monitor contractor performance, and help with safety and compliance issues.
You will also work with Residential and Service Managers, village committees, and residents to provide customer service. Additional tasks include preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes, updating reports, and organising meetings and resources.
This is a 6-month role focused on supporting efficiency, compliance, and customer service.

The requirements
Essential:
- A strong commitment to meeting the needs of older individuals.
- Experience in managing and delivering asset maintenance programs.
- Proven ability to liaise effectively with contractors, service providers, and project stakeholders.
- Excellent planning, communication, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing deadlines and prioritise tasks with a focus on compliance, safety, and improvement.
- Experience in gathering information for budgeting purposes.
- In-depth knowledge of workplace safety and a commitment to maintaining WH&S principles and practices.
- A positive, professional attitude with the ability to promote Warrigal in line with its vision, purpose, and values.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with residents and staff at all levels.
- Skilled in identifying potential conflicts, anticipating issues, and developing proactive solutions.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service and fostering continuous improvement.
- Willingness to embrace change and adopt technology, particularly in relation to electronic maintenance systems.
- High proficiency in using computer software, including word processing, spreadsheets, and email.
- A current NSW driver’s licence.

Desirable:
- A Building-related Trade Certificate.
- Project Management qualifications at certificate level, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- Familiarity with Accreditation Standards.
