The Opportunity
As an experienced educator, you will work collaboratively with school leaders, teachers and support staff to
- share your contemporary professional skills and knowledge of supporting students with additional requirements
- enable teachers to plan personalised learning opportunities that are inclusive and meet students additional requirements
- liaise with parents/legal guardians and other agencies in support of students’ personalised learning
- provide specialist advice in the acquisition, development, and provision of resources and programs
- liaise and network with Learning Support Teachers from other schools and access support and services from the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office.
Candidates with proven experience in a similar learning support role will be highly regarded. Desirable for the candidate to have qualifications in Special Education.

- Hold or be eligible to hold, registration as a teacher in Queensland
- Proven experience in a similar learning support role will be highly regarded
- Qualifications in Special Education are desirable

Working at St Saviour's Primary School, you will be focused on providing students with required support in the classroom and teachers and support staff with strategies and advice to Plan for Personalised Learning. You will receive regular support from visiting Education Officers and allied health professionals - experts who will help you advance your advisory skills, pedagogy and resource development. You will also be a part of a professional network and given the opportunity to attend targeted professional development hosted by the Toowoomba Catholic Schools Office.
