Job Description:

As a Centre Director at Roots, you will be responsible for evaluating and driving effective centre business performance by monitoring, planning, and implementing strategies in collaboration with stakeholders. Your role will be to develop and accelerate centre operations to high performance, ensuring that our educational programs meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and inspire a new team in delivering outstanding early childhood education and care.
• Monitor, evaluate, and improve centre business performance.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance centre operations.
• Collaborate with the Leadership Team to reflect on experiences and explore new teaching and learning strategies.
• Support and mentor staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Build strong relationships with families and the local community.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Centre Director in an early childhood education and care setting.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to develop and implement effective strategic plans.
• Deep understanding of early childhood education standards and regulations.
• Passion for delivering high-quality education and care.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education.
• Minimum 3+ years experience as Centre Director in a contemporary early childhood education setting.
