The Role
In this pivotal position, you will oversee and manage multiple Tier-1 (and occasionally Tier-2) construction projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to our exacting quality standards. You’ll leverage your strategic thinking, leadership expertise, and commercial acumen to foster productive relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end project delivery, from initial planning and scheduling through to completion.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, ensuring strict cost control and accurate forecasting.
• Identify potential risks and implement effective mitigation strategies to safeguard project timelines, budgets, and safety.
• Lead and mentor a diverse team of project managers, site supervisors, and subcontractors, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Uphold and enforce all health, safety, and environmental standards in alignment with OHS requirements.
• Foster strong stakeholder relationships through clear, proactive communication and a solution-focused approach.

Skills & Experience

• 10+ years’ experience managing large-scale industrial or commercial construction projects (Tier-1 experience highly regarded).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver multimillion-dollar projects on time and within budget.
• Proven leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building cohesive, high-performing teams.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen, including budgeting, cost control, and contract management.
• Solid understanding of construction methodologies, design management, and regulatory standards.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Bachelor of Construction Management) and a current Construction White Card.
• Valid driver’s license and the flexibility to travel to multiple project sites when required.
