The Role

We’re seeking a proactive Compliance Manager to lead compliance efforts to create and manage a framework that delivers lasting value.

Reporting to the Head of Compliance, you’ll be responsible for:

• Implementing and establishing industry leading risk and compliance processes and policies, ensuring adherence to regulatory frameworks (ACCC/ACCIS/ACM obligations).
• Play a pivotal role in developing the business sustainability strategy by establishing clear goals, embedding sustainability into business operations, and ensuring compliance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards.
• Managing product compliance to legal and testing requirements, product specifications and factory & sourcing compliance.
• Ensure adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and internal policies.
• Oversee one direct report providing mentorship and career guidance.
• Collaborating with digital, buying, and leadership teams to align compliance efforts with broader business goals.

What we’re looking for

We’re searching for a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. If you’re someone with strong compliance experience across areas such as ACCC standards, ESG preparation, and consumer products (ideally electrical or battery products), this is your chance to shine. You’ll bring the following experience and qualities to the role:

• 4-6+ years of compliance experience and ideally you will have had exposure to dealing directly with regulators.
• A keen sense of ownership and accountability with a great aptitude and excitement for tackling new challenges.
• A growth mindset, eager to learn and evolve with the business.
• Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work independently without micromanagement.
